Hi there, if you haven’t guessed it yet, that good (read ‘great’) looking guy in the picture is me, Dan. A half-french, half-english hobbit-sized man.
For years, I’ve enjoyed reading many self-improvement books and have watched countless Youtube videos about people having their shit together and improving themselves daily.
Truth is, I’ve been trying to do the same. Improving myself, that is.
In my opinion, I’ve done a pretty good job of it in recent times, but I could do so much better. There is no “end-goal” so to speak. No finish line. Improving oneself is more of a journey.
And I want to bring you along on the ride!
See, I believe my purpose is to better myself for the wellbeing of those I care about. And as a longtime optimist, I quite like this world and the people in it.
That’s why I created “Whatever Happens”, so I could share self-improvement knowledge, actions, and concepts that I find along the way. Posting keeps me accountable. I can’t advise you to adopt a particular habit if I’m not willing to do it myself. And if you find something useful in one blog post of mine, then that’s success in my eyes.
This blog is more of a hobby for now. My little personal project. A way to share topics that truly interest me.
But I don’t want to stop there. Like many others in this field, I want to build a community with you. To create a space where we can interact and support each other as we find ways to attain our goals and better our lives and the lives of others around us. If you want, you can already contact me!
So stay tuned, they’ll be more on the way once we get the ball rolling.
In any case, whether this blog gets 10 views a year or a gazilion a day, whatever happens, I can handle it.
Whatever any of us do, we can handle it.
